Are you a good listener, compassionate and empathetic towards others and want to help people in your community? Then you may want to consider becoming a volunteer. Volunteers provide valuable emotional support to both patients and families and keep families connected to the community.

Volunteers are an agent of encouragement to patients who are facing the final earthly journey of their lives. Volunteers can also provide caregivers or family members time for themselves. Administrative volunteers are needed for clerical and office duties in the Hospice office. We also hold fund raisers all through the year and couldn't do them without Volunteers.

The training program covers all aspects of volunteering so the volunteer is prepared to be with patients and their families.

Patients teach Volunteers about life and how to live one's life with courage, dignity and always with hope. Our Volunteers go home at the end of the day knowing they have helped make a difference in someone's life!
